Neel Ahmed is a modern Pakistani poetess, writer, corporate trainer & personal image consultant. She holds a Masters in Philosophy (for which she was awarded a gold medal from University of Karachi), MBA in Marketing, M.A in Urdu and pursuing PhD in Urdu.

She has been working to promote Urdu literature among new generation her willingness was recognized by Youth Parliament of Pakistan, she is the convener for Young Urdu Poets Association and also got Naokhaiz Sukhanwar award for her dedication towards literature from Sir Pirzada Qasim. Miss Ahmed frequently organizes Urdu Mushairas all over Pakistan in order to engage general public in literary works which will lead to better academic policies.

She has been participating in All Pakistan Urdu Mushaira & International Urdu Mushaira since 2012. In the year 2014, the Arts Council of Pakistan organized a literary program,”Ek Sham Neel Ahmed Ke Saath” honoring her, she is heading the executive body of Anjuman Tariqiyey Urdu.

Miss Neel Ahmed is the only famous young poetess of Pakistan who is writing for the women social issues in order to promote women rights and to empower the women of Pakistan. Her nazm “GURIYA” is already famous and has been published in many literary magazines.

She has been reciting her poetry in many conferences and at the prestigious “Kul Pakistan Mushaira”, “Aalmi Mushaira” and various other literary events all around the country.

She recently appeared as a representative of young poets in the 10th Karachi Literature Festival. Also Neel Ahmed has been nominated as the young poetess of Pakistan in “The News- Jang Group” who is honoring 50 most powerful & successful women, recognizing their efforts. She is now proving herself as a successful event host for various literary events and social events.
