My Name is Humera Akbar. I Live in Bahawalpur Main City Riaz Colony. My date of birth is 25th December, 1981. My Father Professor Muhammad Akbar Malik is a Retired Professor of Urdu Department in S.E College Bahawalpur, He is also a Poet, Novel Writer, Naat Writer and Naat khwan. He is on service as Secrecy Officer in IUB Examination Branch.

My Husband name is Furqan Ahmad Khan. He is a Government Servant Education Department. I have two Children. An elder son Adur Rahim Khan and a daughter Omaima Martab Furqan Khan. My Father in Law late was a DCO.

I done my Matriculation, Intermediate with Urdu subject from Bahawalpur Board. I did my Bachelor and Master in Urdu Iqbaliyat from IUB. I started my first Job in Army Public College Bahawalpur Cantt as a Lecturer of Urdu in 2006. After that I was appointed in Punjab Danish School Hasilpur Girls Campus as an Urdu Teacher in 2010. Later, I was prompted as a Deputy Head of PDS in year 2015, and currently working in a same capacity.

I loved Book reading from my childhood as I told before that my father is a writer, I also used to write from younger age. I proceed writing Gazals and Nazams (Tanz o Mazah) in Nasar, I write Afsanah Columns and Documentary Features.

I had started writing strong writings in college, which are published in college magazine and local newspapers. I have offered my poetry in different College and University Mushairas.

I got almost 30 merit certificates and prices form different literary Competitions. I am one of the best debater, compare and Teht o Lafz poetry reader.

Beside my Job I am also an Incharge of Urdu Debating Society, School Magazine Incharge, Poetry Club Incharge and Drama Society Incharge. I am also working on my own poetry Book which will be published very soon IA.

After publishing of my poetry book, I have plan to start the book of fiction. I have also plan to take the admission in the PHD to contribute more as an Educationist.
