Saba Mumtaz Bano is a famous writer, poetess and journalist. She was born at Lahore in Pakistan. She is Master in Urdu from Punjab university and B.ED from AIOU Pakistan.

She started writing from school period. She wrote in all known papers and Magazines in Pakistan and India. She joined journalism in 2002.She worked on different distinguished posts in different newspapers of Pakistan for example Daily Leader, Daily Insaf, Daily Khabrain , Daily Nawa e Waqat, Apna TV, See TV and Leo TV Network etc. She belonged to literature also life. She wrote stories in magazines.

After that she got a gap because of her journalistic activities but after earning name in journalism, she gave her full attention on literary writings. She earned fame and name. She is the author of three books, Palestine Mein Mosad Ki Dahshat Gardi (Research book), Kia ye Badan Mera Tha ( fiction) , Payar Ki Pehli Manzil, ( Novel).

Poetry book is under Publication. She won many awards on her journalistic and literary services for example from Bazam Waris Shah award, National peace committee award, Daily Azmat award, Ghar foundation award, Saibaan welfare trust award, Apwa Best Writer Award and Many more.

She performed her best services in press club literary committee. She awarded best performance award from press club Lahore. She is working in different era of literature and Research.

She is social worker also. She worked for the community as a social worker. She performed her services as a president GSWA Association, The Hwea Organization, and others.

Now She is associated with drama line and writing plays, short movies and clips for TV Channels. She is the pride of Pakistan. She is the unique writer, there is no other who has paid so much contribution to writing in journalism and literature same.
