She has acquired education in conservative and backward atmosphere and has broken the status-quo of tribalism. Not only had she exceeded in education but has also written five literary books. The book named ‘’UDASI RAQS KARTI HAY” was published in (2009) with four editions which was declared one of the best books of 2009 by directorate culture government of Baluchistan. ‘’MOHABBAT” this book is special because all poems are on the name of love and was written under one night and published in one week. This books ceremony was held on 14th February 2011 in which chief guest bought the copies and distributed among the guests as a gift. ‘’MUJHE KHUTBA NAHI AATA” two editions one was published in 2012 and another in 2014. This book is issue oriented and based on women right and their problems in male dominating society. ‘’MOHABBAT SHAEIRI HAY” is the book based on poems and verses and this book is also being awarded by directorate culture of Baluchistan as best book of 2014. “KHUWAB BUNTAY RAHO” this book is the translation of Brahvi poems in Urdu and was published in 2016.
Along with the literature she has contributed towards society through her social work in 2010 flood crises and alleviated women from victimization of patriarchy. She has received various honorary shields and certificates from government of Pakistan and different non- governmental organizations. Government of Baluchistan has provided her with Ameer Mohammed excellence award She has organized several programs from the platform of Gehwarae fun. Everal essays on her personality has been compiled by Mahnama Moulam .She has been serving radio Pakistan and Pakistan television in the regional languages of Baluchistan from years. She is the first columnist of Baluchistan. She has worked on violence against women through women development department government of Baluchistan. Currently, she is serving in human rights department and through various programs and seminars she is contributing to mitigate the suffering of human kind.
Jahanara Tabassum belongs to a poor and illiterate family where girls’ education is neither liked nor admired. Belonging form such a background has she not doing her job with enthusiasm, courage, hard work, zest and enlightenment but is the role model for the girls of her local community.
