PIM is a pioneer in the field of executive development in Pakistan. It is the largest management training organization in Pakistan having a rich experience in the field of training and development. PIM was established in 1954 by Government of Pakistan to promote management training and development in the country. PIM’s vision is to take a lead role in management training and development in Pakistan on no profit no loss basis. PIM’s primary goal is to serve the growing and complex needs of organizational managers and to enhance their managerial skills through training, education, consulting, and research.

PIM functions under the federal Ministry of Industries and Production with a high powered autonomous Board of Governors (BoG) appointed by the Federal Government. The Secretary, Ministry of Industries is the Chairman of the BoG. Being a not-for-profit government organization, the main focus of PIM is to provide value for money to Pakistani organizations by conducting high quality trainings utilizing latest training techniques and course material at an affordable price.

PIM’s faculty consists of professionals from a multidisciplinary group of highly qualified and trained facilitators, having academic and as well as industry experience. With state of the art training centers at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, the faculty is able to train as many as two hundred managers per week.
